Former Duke Basketball and NBA star and current ESPN college basketball analyst Shane Battier recently made an appearance in a brief radio interview to talk about Duke Basketball.
Battier discusses a variety of topics in the interview, including when he believes Mike Krzyzewski will stop coaching (hint: it’s not anytime soon), the 2016-17 Duke Basketball team, and the greatest lesson he ever learned from playing under Coach K. The former Blue Devil had an illustrious basketball career at Duke and professionally in the NBA. He was inducted into the Duke Athletics Hall of Fame with the most recent class earlier this year.
Shane Battier starred for Duke Men’s Basketball and finished his career as one of the top players in Blue Devil history. He was an All-American, a three-time National Defensive Player of the Year recipient, and the 2001 NCAA National Player of the Year as a senior, and helped lead the Blue Devils to the 2001 National Championship as the Most Outstanding Player.
