Former Blue Devils Unite to Discuss Duke Basketball and the NCAA
Former Duke Basketball players Jay Bilas and J.J. Redick recently got together on Redick’s podcast to discuss a variety of topics surrounding college basketball.
Former Duke Basketball star J.J. Redick hosted another former Blue Devil Jay Bilas on his podcast yesterday to discuss a variety of topics. The two discuss Duke Basketball, playing for Mike Krzyzewski, the Duke Brotherhood, transitioning from college to the pros, and Bilas’ stance on paying college athletes. Redick is heading into his 10th NBA season currently playing with the Los Angeles Clippers. He is one of the top players in Duke Basketball history earning numerous All-ACC and All-American accolades. The former Blue Devil was also selected as the 2005 and 2006 ACC Player of the Year and the 2006 National Player of the Year.
Bilas is a college basketball analyst for ESPN. He played for the Blue Devils from 1982-86 and helped lead Duke to Coach K’s first ACC title, NCAA Final Four, and the national championship game his senior year.
