Gandia-Rosa lifts North Florida over LIU-Brooklyn 95-92

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Ivan Gandia-Rosa had 22 points and Carter Hendricksen had 21 points and 11 rebounds as North Florida narrowly defeated Long Island-Brooklyn 95-92 in the Las Vegas Invitational on Thursday.

North Florida advances to the championship game on Friday against Tennessee State.

Garrett Sams had 14 points for North Florida (5-3). Dorian James added 12 points. J.T. Escobar, whose 13 points per game entering the matchup was second on the Ospreys, scored five points.

Raiquan Clark had 25 points and 12 rebounds for the Sharks (1-6). Jashaun Agosto added 21 points and six assists. Julian Batts had 11 points.
