George Mason beats Penn 63-44

FAIRFAX, Va. (AP) Jaire Grayer scored 20 points to lead George Mason to a 63-44 win over Penn on Saturday night.

Grayer did it with 8-of-13 shooting from the field including three 3-pointers for the Patriots (4-5). Otis Livingston II scored 12 points and Marquise Moore added 11 points and six rebounds. The team averaged 45 percent shooting from the field, 46.2 percent from the line and had a 45-30 rebounding edge over Penn.

Grayer sank a pair of 3-pointers early in the second half as part of an 8-3 run that extended the Patriots' 29-16 halftime lead to 37-19 with 15:50 to play. Penn got as close as 17 points, 48-31, on a Darnell Foreman 3 with 11:17 left but made only six buckets after that.

Darien Nelson-Henry posted a double-double, scoring 10 points with 11 rebounds for the Quakers (4-4). Antonio Woods added another 10 points.
