Gomillion carries Cleveland St. over E. Kentucky 65-51

WASHINGTON (AP) — Tre Gomillion tallied 15 points and 16 rebounds to carry Cleveland St. to a 65-51 win over Eastern Kentucky in the final game of the D.C. Classic tournament on Saturday.

Gomillion shot 11 for 12 from the foul line.

Craig Beaudion had 14 points for Cleveland St. (3-4). Algevon Eichelberger added seven rebounds. Deante Johnson had eight rebounds for Cleveland St..

Jomaru Brown had 15 points for the Colonels (3-4). He also had eight turnovers but only one assist. Ty Taylor added 11 points. Darius Hicks had 6 points and 15 rebounds.

Cleveland St. takes on Robert Morris at home next Saturday. Eastern Kentucky plays South Carolina Upstate on the road next Tuesday.
