Grandison leads Holy Cross over Loyola (Maryland) 73-57 (Feb 03, 2018)

BALTIMORE (AP) Jacob Grandison scored a career-high 21 points and Holy Cross rolled to a 73-57 victory over Loyola (Maryland) on Saturday.

Holy Cross (8-15, 5-7 Patriot League) has won three of its last four games. Loyola (7-16, 5-7) has lost two straight.

Jehyve Floyd added 14 points for the Crusaders, who shot 54 percent from the field and made 17 of 20 free throws. Caleb Green and Karl Charles added 12 points apiece, and Austin Butler chipped in 10.

Andrew Kostecka scored 14 points and Chuck Champion had 13 to lead Loyola.

Grandison hit back-to-back 3-pointers to spark an early 12-4 surge as Holy Cross built a 39-26 halftime lead. Kostecka scored eight points and Brent Holcombe capped a 13-4 stretch with a dunk that pulled the Greyhounds to 49-40 early in the second, but they didn't get closer.
