Green Bay holds off Pacific 93-88

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) Carrington Love scored 29 points as Green Bay held off a late surge to defeat Pacific 93-88 Tuesday night.

Love drained five 3-pointers and was among five players for Green Bay (5-4) to reach double figures. Charles Cooper scored 15 points, Turner Botz 12, and Khalil Small and Jamar Hurdle 10 each.

Alec Kobre, who got red-hot in the final minutes, led Pacific (1-8) with 25 points, including seven 3-pointers. Kobre drained a fadeaway 3-pointer to end a third-straight possession with a 3 with 44 seconds left. Kobre scored 12 of his points in 50 seconds - the span of 1:08 to :18 - as Green Bay's double-digit lead was whittled to 92-88.

The Tigers were called for 36 fouls and had four players foul out, including Tonko Vuko, who scored 21 points, Ray Bowles, who scored 15, and D.J. Ursery, who scored 13.

Fifty-seven fouls were called all told.
