WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — John Carroll and Jason Dunne combined to score 37 points and Hartford used a big first-half run to rout Division-III Western New England, 93-53, and pick up its second victory of the season on Saturday.

The Hawks lost all four games in the MGM Resorts Main Event Tournament, including both games in Las Vegas this week. The game was Hartford's first home game since the season-opening loss to Central Connecticut.

Kenny Flynn hit a 3-pointer to get the Golden Bears within four, 14-9 with 12:54 left in the first half, but Hartford responded with a 22-2 run and went into intermission with a 45-19 advantage.

Hartford (2-5) had 15 players see action and all but one figured into the scoring.
