Hot-shooting Army bounces back to beat Lehigh, 93-81 (Jan 20, 2018)

WEST POINT, N.Y. (AP) Luke Morrison scored 21 points and dropped in 5 3-pointers as Army shot its way past Lehigh 93-81 in a Patriot League battle on Saturday afternoon.

The Black Knights had their three-game win streak snapped Wednesday at Holy Cross, 70-66. Army is now 6-1 in games following a loss.

Army (12-7, 5-3) shot 58.6 percent from the field (34 of 58), hitting 12 of 27 from behind the three-point stripe and 13 of 20 from the free throw line.

Matthew Wilson, already one of the most efficient shooters in the nation at 58.7 percent coming into the game, knocked down 7 of 8 from the field for a season-high 18 points. Jordan Fox added 15 and Thomas Funk 13.

Lance Tejada scored 25 points and Marques Wilson contributed 20 for the Mountain Hawks (8-11, 3-5), who now have lost two straight games and four of their last five.
