Hot-shooting Liberty rolls over D-II Toccoa Falls, 96-50 (Nov 25, 2017)

LYNCHBURG, Va. (AP) Myo Baxter-Bell hit 8 of 9 from the field to score 18 points off the bench and lead four players into double-figure scoring as Liberty routed Division II Toccoa Falls, 96-50 on Saturday afternoon.

The Flames, who picked up one win in three games at the Paradise Jam, lapped the Screaming Eagles in the first half, taking a 54-25 advantage into intermission and cruising to the finish.

Zach Farquhar hit all five 3-point attempts and finished with 15 points off the Liberty bench. Scottie James scored 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and Keegan McDowell added 12 points. Liberty shot 55. 4 percent from the field (36 of 65) and knocked down 11 of 19 from behind the arc.

Toccoa Falls, from Toccoa, Georgia, hit 19 of 52 from the field (36.5 percent), but was outrebounded 47-21. Kevin Cave was the lone Eagle to reach double figures with 12 points.
