Idaho rallies to beat Montana State for 5th straight win (Feb 16, 2018)
MOSCOW, Idaho (AP) Brayon Blake had 24 points with 14 rebounds and Victor Sanders added 21 points as Idaho battled back late to beat Montana State 88-78 and win its fifth straight Big Sky Conference game Thursday night.
Blake hit 4 of 7 from distance as the Vandals drained 11 of 33 from long range.
Montana State was up 40-38 at the break and pushed its advantage to 56-48 at the 14:38 mark. Idaho rallied to take a 68-61 lead with 9:28 left before Montana State's Keljin Blevins nailed a 3-pointer and followed with three free throws to tie at 68. Devonte Klines drove for a layup to give the Bobcats a 72-71 lead with 6:50 left.
Sanders gave Idaho the lead for good when he drained two straight from long range to go up 77-72 and the Vandals held on for the win.
Jordan Scott had 10 points with six rebounds for Idaho (18-7, 10-3).
Blevin had 24 points to lead Montana State (13-14, 6-8), which has dropped four of its last five games.
