Indiana loses starting center indefinitely with injured leg

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) Indiana has lost starting center De'Ron Davis indefinitely with an injured lower right leg.

The Hoosiers said Davis was injured Thursday at practice. He is still being evaluated to determine the extent of the injury.

Coach Archie Miller told reporters it was a non-contact injury.

The sophomore started each of Indiana's first 15 games this season and was averaging 9.6 points and 4.3 rebounds. He also was fourth in the Big Ten with a field goal percentage of 61.5 percent.

Davis is a native of Colorado. Indiana visits Minnesota on Saturday.
