JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) Kori Babineaux scored 21 points and J.R. Holder added 18 more to lead Jacksonville to an 83-70 win over Kennesaw State on Thursday night.

They got help from Josh Adeyeye, who finished with 15 points, and Marcel White with 14 as Jacksonville (9-10, 1-1 Atlantic Sun Conference) jumped out to a quick 10-2 lead and never trailed. Antwon Clayton hauled in 10 rebounds.

Kennesaw State (5-13, 1-1) tied the game at 30 with Kendrick Ray's 3-pointer late in the first half, but the Dolphins responded with back-to-back 3s from Adeyeye to reclaim the advantage for good and Jacksonville carried a 43-37 advantage into the break. Clayton's bucket early in the second half stretched the lead to 50-40, and the margin stayed in double figures the rest of the way.

The Dolphins, who out-rebounded Kennesaw State 52-35, are unbeaten on their home court this season.
