Evans has a bruised left A/C joint and is listed as day-to-to by Head Coach Brad Underwood. With freshman replacement Brandon Averette being named Big 12 Newcomer of the Week last week, and Arkansas Pine Bluff boasting a less than stellar 1-9 record on the year, the Cowboys look to be in good shape for at least this game without Evans. Underwood’s decision not to play him almost certainly would be precautionary considering Evans’s freshman campaign last season ended early because of a right should injury which required surgery.
