Kevin Stallings will take over as head coach at Pittsburgh, agreeing to a six-year deal on Sunday.
The deal was announced on Monday, with Stallings saying "There comes a point in your life if you don't change, you're never going to change. I kind of determined I wanted one more opportunity.''

Stallings, who had coached Vanderbilt for the last 17 seasons, replaces Jamie Dixon. Dixon has spent the last 13 seasons with Pitt, guiding the Panthers to 11 NCAA Tourney appearances along the way. Dixon accepted the TCU head coaching job last week.
Stallings' Vanderbilt squad made the NCAA field for the first time in four years this season, falling to Wichita State in a First Four game.
According to ESPN's Jeff Goodman, there was some debate whether Vanderbilt would even keep Stallings on after the recent disappointing stretch.
