Louisville Basketball: Damion Lee, Terry Rozier both makes appearances for Celtics
Former Louisville basketball players Damion Lee and Terry Rozier both made appearances for the Boston Celtics this afternoon.
The Boston Celtics continued their domination of the Charlotte Hornets this afternoon after beating them for the second time this week. Not only did they win, but the Louisville basketball program had two former players making appearances in the game with second year player Terry Rozier and rookie Damion Lee.
Damion Lee made his first appearance in the Celtics’ preseason and is much more of a long-shot to make the roster than Rozier. In three short minutes, Lee missed his only shot and turned the ball over once. Definitely not the impression you want to make on on a team with talented guards.
Rozier didn’t play as much as he did in the other preseason games, but they may have been because head coach Brad Stevens was getting other guys more minutes. It’s the preseason and now is the time to mess around with different rotations and see how well guys play with each other on the floor.

In 8 minutes of play, Rozier was able to rack up 2 rebounds, 1 assist, and 4 points in the Celtics 104-86 win over the Charlotte Hornets.
Rozier, Lee, and the Celtics move on from Charlotte with a 2-1 record on the preseason. They still have four more games left before starting the regular season at the end of the month.
Look for Rozier and Lee to make their next appearances in the Celtics next game against the Brooklyn Nets at 7:30pm on Thursday night at 7:30pm.
