Louisville Basketball: See what people are saying about Rozier after his 1st start
Former Louisville basketball player dazzled in his first NBA start for the Boston Celtics in their loss to the Knicks on Wednesday night.
Terry Rozier has been making the Louisville basketball program proud as he has been tearing up the NBA since the 2016 Summer League. Rozier was able to get some major playing time in the Celtics’ playoff series against the Atlanta Hawks last year after and hasn’t looked back since.
The Celtics have been playing great basketball throughout the course of their 2016 preseason schedule. They were 5-1 going into Wednesday night’s game against the New York Knicks, but weren’t able to come away with the victory.
If you’re a Celtics fan, then no need to worry because the usual starting five got the night off, which gave Terry Rozier his first chance this preseason to start for Boston. Not only did he start, but he made a ton of people notice how far he has come.
Check out what people were saying about the Louisville basketball product on Twitter:
Preseason or not, Terry Rozier was so genuinely excited to get his first #Celtics start tonight. Told me: "It's amazing… It feels good."

Rozier has come from being a bench player to the best back-up point guard on the Celtics’ roster in just over one calendar year. Not only is he going to get great minutes this season, but more and more NBA teams should be calling Boston’s front-office and looking for his services.
The buzz on Rozier is growing and he may find himself in a starting role somewhere in the NBA. That may not be this year, but Terry Rozier is well on his way to becoming a very solid guard in the NBA.
