LOS ANGELES (AP) James Batemon had seven of his 23 points in the final minute and a half and Loyola Marymount rallied from 16 down to beat Pacific 74-71 on Saturday.

Batemon's 3-pointer with 1:27 left gave the Lions (10-19, 5-13 West Coast Conference) the lead for good at 70-68 and his layup at 34.5 seconds pushed the lead to four. Jahlil Tripp had a 3-point play for the Tigers (14-17, 9-9) to cut the deficit to one with 17 seconds left, but Batemon made two free throws to cap the scoring.

Pacific's Jack Williams missed a pair of 3-point attempts in the final five seconds that would have tied it for the Tigers.

Loyola Marymount trailed 51-35 early in the second half before making 15 of 19 shots over a stretch that included runs of 9-2 and 11-0. Zafir Williams added 17 points for the Lions.
