Marshall assistant coach Duhon suspended after arrest
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- Marshall men's basketball assistant coach Chris Duhon has been suspended following his arrest on a drunken driving charge.
Marshall announced Duhon's suspension for an undisclosed violation of athletic department rules and policies.
A criminal complaint in Putnam County Magistrate Court says Duhon was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol.
The complaint says deputies found Duhon asleep in a car in Eleanor with its engine running early Monday. His blood-alcohol level registered 0.20 percent, more than double the legal limit of 0.08.
Duhon was released on bond from the Western Regional Jail. Jail records didn't indicate whether Duhon has an attorney.
Duhon was hired by Marshall coach Dan D'Antoni last year. Duhon played nine seasons in the NBA and was a member of Duke's 2001 national championship team.
