NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) Wayne Martin scored 20 points and pulled down 10 rebounds and Tennessee State beat Stetson 74-54 on Saturday.

The double-double was Martin's fifth this season. Keron DeShields added 19 points, 11 in the first half on 5-of-7 shooting, as the Tigers (5-2) took a 33-18 halftime lead. Demontez Loman had 12 rebounds, nine in the first half.

Derick Newton scored 20 points and Divine Myles 15 for the Hatters (3-5), who were held to their lowest point total this season. The Hatters came in having scored at least one 3-pointer in 353 games but had to wait until 4:32 was left in the game for Newton to make Stetson's only 3.

Newton scored five points in a 7-0 run to open the second half but the Tigers then scored the next 19 points to lead 52-25. The lead didn't dip below 18 points after that.
