Miami (Ohio) rallies to beat UCF 64-63

OXFORD, Ohio (AP) Eric Washington's jumper with 23 seconds left gave Miami (Ohio) a 64-63 comeback win over the University of Central Florida on Saturday.

Washington scored 15 points on 5-of-10 shooting and made all four of his free throws. Willie Moore and Geovonie McKnight added 13 apiece for the RedHawks (4-3), who came into the game the NCAA's third-best rebounding team but were outrebounded by the Knights 36-30.

Abdoulaye Harouna hit 3 of 8 3-pointers, and his 3 with three minutes to play gave the RedHawks a go-ahead 62-59 lead after they trailed 36-28 at halftime.

UCF's Tacko Fall made a layup to tie it at 62 with 38 seconds left, then Washington hit his jumper on the next possession.

Fall scored 10 points on 4-of-4 shooting and the Knights (1-3) outshot the RedHawks 54 percent to 34 percent, but were hurt by 22 turnovers that resulted in 24 Miami (Ohio) points.
