Michigan is riding a six-game winning streak heading into Thursday's marquee conference tilt at Purdue.

The most recent victory, a 79-56 decision over Penn State, came without senior guard Caris LeVert, the team's top scorer. LeVert injured his left leg in the previous game against Illinois. According to Brendan Quinn of MLive.com, head coach John Beilein said Monday that LeVert is "day-to-day."

LeVert is averaging 17.6 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game, leading the Wolverines in each category.

The Boilermakers, ranked No. 14 in last week's AP poll, are coming off their second loss of the season, falling to Iowa on Saturday night. This will be the third ranked team Michigan has faced this season (Xavier was not ranked at the time). The Wolverines lost both games by double figures.

"I can't be any more specific than that, for everybody that's waiting," Beilein said, later adding that Michigan is "being cautious with this thing."
