Mitchell, Georgia Tech beat SE Louisiana 75-62

ATLANTA (AP) Charles Mitchell had 14 points and 15 rebounds for his 10th double-double of the season and Georgia Tech beat Southeastern Louisiana 75-62 on Monday night.

Georgia Tech took its largest lead of the game at 49-25 with 16:27 left after a 15-4 spurt to start the second half. Marcus Georges-Hunt had two 3-pointers during the run and Adam Smith hit another.

James White added 12 points and 13 rebounds for his second double-double this season. Smith finished with a team-high 16 points, including four 3-pointers, for Georgia Tech (8-3), while Georges-Hunt also hit four 3s and scored 14 points.

The Yellow Jackets had 19 assists - including a career-high nine by Josh Heath - on 27 made field goals and only had eight turnovers.

Joshua Filmore led SE Louisiana (2-10) with 20 points and Moses Greenwood added 16. The Lions outshot Georgia Tech 45.5 to 43.5 percent but were outrebounded 43-29.
