Moe's last-second putback seals win for UT Rio Grande Valley (Feb 10, 2018)

EDINBURG, Texas (AP) Nick Dixon and Lesley Varner Jr. scored 14 apiece and Moe McDonald grabbed an offensive rebound and scored with a second left to send UT Rio Grande Valley to a 68-66 victory over CSU Bakersfield on Saturday night.

Javon Levi added 13 points, four rebounds and four assists for the Vaqueros (14-12, 5-4 Western Athletic Conference), who couldn't find their shooting touch except at the free-throw line where they hit 21 of 27 attempts (78 percent).

The Roadrunners (10-15, 3-7) trailed 64-58 with 1:54 remaining when Damiyne Durham sank a 3-pointer. After Dixon made 1 of 2 free throws, Justin Davis buried a 3 to pull Bakersfield within a point. Levi hit 1 of 2 free throws to push the lead to two, but Rickey Holden's layup tied it at 66 with 22 seconds left. Dixon missed a 3 with four seconds left, but McDonald was there for the putback basket.

Durham hit 6 of 12 from 3-point range and scored 26 to pace the Roadrunners. Jarkel Joiner added 12 points and six rebounds, while Holden scored 10.
