ESTERO, Fla. (AP) Murray State's Bryce Jones and Jeffrey Moss made both ends of 1-and-1 free-throw opportunities in the final 15 seconds and a 3-pointer at the buzzer by Milwaukee was waved off giving the Racers a 66-63 victory on Monday in the first round of the Gulf Coast Showcase.

Murray State (3-1) plays Pepperdine on Tuesday in the semifinals while Milwaukee (4-2) will face Duquesne in the consolation bracket.

Jordan Johnson's layup cut Murray State's lead to 62-60 with 42 seconds left. The Racers missed a 3-pointer but Jones got the rebound, was fouled and made both free throws. A 3-pointer by Austin Arians again cut the lead to two but Moss made two free throws with six seconds left. Johnson sank a hurried 3-pointer but the basket was waved off and replay upheld the call.

Jones finished with 15 points and Moss 13 for the Racers.
