HANOVER, N.H. (AP) Wesley Myers scored 31 points off the bench and Austin Howard added 23, both career highs, and Maine scored the last six points of the game to hand Dartmouth its eighth-straight loss 73-68 on Saturday.

The Big Green took a 68-67 lead on a pair of Brendan Barry free throws with a minute left. Myers answered with a jumper, then rebounded a Dartmouth miss and made two free throws with 23 seconds left for a 71-68 lead. Howard, with nine seconds left, and Myers, with one, each made 1 of 2 free throws after defensive rebounds.

Myers made 9 of 14 shots with three 3-pointers and 10 of 12 free throws for the first 30-point game for Maine (4-6) in four seasons. Howard was 8-of-11 with four 3s.

Evan Boudreaux, who has led the Big Green in scoring and rebounding in every game this season, had 19 points and 12 rebounds for his third double-double. Dartmouth, which had a four-game winning streak against Maine, has lost its first eight games of the season for the first time since 1977-78.
