GREELEY, Colo. (AP) — Jake White made 8 for 11 field goals and converted all nine free throws to score 25 points and Nebraska Omaha beat Northern Colorado 105-85 Wednesday night.

Tre'Shawn Thurman added 17 points and seven rebounds, and Devin Patterson had 16 points and four assists for Omaha (3-2).

Northern Colorado (1-4) held a 44-39 rebounding edge, but the Mavericks collected 11 steals, six of which were swipes by Tra-Deon Hollins who came into the game averaging four steals.

The Mavericks opened with a 19-6 lead in the first five minutes and never trailed. Thurman's layup with 9:55 left before halftime made it 36-15. The Mavericks led the Bears 64-31 at the intermission.

Anthony Johnson led the Bears with 20 points and eight rebounds, and Jordan Wilson and Spencer Mathis each added 12.

Northern Colorado played without leading scorer Cameron Michael, averaging 16.8 points, after suffering a concussion in practice this week.
