Two weeks before league play is set to begin, an All-Mountain West big man has left his program.

According to Chris Murray of the Reno Gazette-Journal, Nevada senior center AJ West has stepped aside due to personal reasons.

The 6-foot-9 West was averaging 9.6 points and 7.7 rebounds per game for the Wolf Pack. He was coming off a junior campaign in which he averaged a double-double and was named third team All-Mountain West.
