Nude Anthony Davis getting spanked in leaked video?

Updated Mar. 4, 2020 1:20 p.m. ET

A strange video emerged Saturday that apparently shows basketball star Anthony Davis nude and getting spanked in the locker room at some point when he was a member of the Kentucky Wildcats.

The video was posted to a Vine account from a questionable source, a person Deadspin.com identified as a "Louisville fan." In it, Davis appears to be lying face down, no clothes on, while another man -€” seemingly a teammate -€” slaps him on the rear end.

Be warned that the Vine post features partial nudity and some offensive language, but you can see the video here. And this screenshot gives you the gist:

Given the royal blue uniforms that can be seen in the frame, this appears to have happened during Davis' one season with Kentucky -€” the Wildcats' 2011-12 championship season.

Is it hazing? For his part, Davis doesn't appear to mind the treatment too much. He can be seen smiling and hamming it up for the camera, though that's not necessarily a true indicator of his feelings.

Still, the video will no doubt raise eyebrows in the wake of the Richie Incognito-Jonathan Martin situation. Martin, a former offensive lineman with the Miami Dolphins, has alleged a pattern of bullying from Incognito, his former teammate, and even described several graphic hazing incidents.

TMZ.com says it has reached out to Kentucky for comment but has not yet received a response.

Davis left Kentucky after his freshman season and was the No. 1 pick in the 2012 NBA Draft. He plays for the New Orleans Pelicans and just had his breakout game as a pro the night before this video leaked.

On Friday, the NBA reportedly sent a memo to its teams to remind them of the league's policy against hazing practices.

Incognito will give his first comments on the allegations in a taped interview with FOX Sports NFL Insider Jay Glazer that will air Sunday on FOX NFL Sunday.
