Ole Miss Basketball: 4-star SG Devontae Shuler Commits to Ole Miss
Andy Kennedy and the Ole Miss basketball team picked up their second committment for the 2017 class with Devontae Shuler picking the Rebels over the Gamecocks.
Devontae Shuler has made his decision on which school he will be attending for the next few years, and he chose the University of Mississippi. Shuler, a 4-star shooting guard from South Carolina, picked the Rebels over South Carolina, Oklahoma State, and Miami.
Shuler grew up watching the Rebel basketball team compete as he watched hometown hero Murphy Holloway play for the Rebels.
Holloway accompanied Shuler on a visit to Oxford over the weekend.

Shuler is a crafty little shooting guard who can drive to the basket and score as well as pull up and shoot the long-range shot.
This kid fits the Andy Kennedy system very well as he plays defense better than most kids out there. Ole Miss has been in search for a talented guard like Shuler for a while now, and it appears that The Pavilion is starting to pay off.
Shuler joins Parker Stewart, a 3-star SG from Union County, TN on the Ole Miss commit list.
ESPN, Rivals, and 247Sports all currently have Shuler listed a 4-star, but he could easily make his way up to 5-star status if he continues to improve over the year.
He is the 100th ranked player in the country according to 247Sports and the 24th ranked shooting guard in the country.
The Rebels currently have four shooting guards on the team already, but with Rasheed Brooks graduating next season, the Rebels will look to plug-in Shuler and Stewart.
