The Providence Friars were elated when they received good news on the recruiting front about a week ago. 6-foot-8 power forward Quadree Smith, from IMG Academy, committed to attend Providence College.

In an effort to get to know the new Friar big man, Friarbasketball.com's Craig Leighton caught up with Smith to get his thoughts on his commitment, the school and his journey to Providence. Take a look.
