Princeton now 4-0 after 91-61 win over Fairleigh Dickinson
PRINCETON, N.J. (AP) Henry Caruso almost couldn't miss, scoring 27 points and grabbing 10 rebounds to lead Princeton to an easy 91-61 win over Fairleigh Dickinson Monday night.
Princeton now is 4-0 for the first time since the 1997-98 season and the Tigers lead the newly created rivalry with two wins in three games, both at home.
Caruso hit 10 of his 11 shots from the field and knocked down both 3-point shots. Caruso (5 of 8) and the Tigers continued their woes from the free throw line, collectively hitting 20 of 34.
Steven Cook was 3-for-3 from distance and finished with 17 points for Princeton. Amir Bell added 13 points and Devin Cannady contributed 10. A dozen Tigers contributed to the score and collectively shot 52.5 percent (31 of 59).
Darian Anderson led the Knights (2-5) with 13 points. Ghassan Nehme added 11 as Fairleigh Dickinson shot 19 of 59 (32.2 percent).
