Providence transfer Chukwu to join Syracuse

Paschal Chukwu, the former Providence Friar, has found a new home.

Chukwu has chosen to take his talents to Syracuse, where in time, he will anchor their patented 2-3 zone defense.

Chukwu had already visited Nebraska, Kansas and Michigan State before taking a trip to see Syracuse University over the weekend.

"I believe it's a place where I can make my dream come true,'' Chukwu said of his final choice. "The whole atmosphere was really good. I was convinced that it's the right place for me.''
