Dismissed Duke guard Rasheed Sulaimon will resurface next season with one of the Blue Devils’ former rivals. After visiting Maryland on Friday, Sulaimon has committed to play for Mark Turgeon’s Terrapins in 2015-16.

Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports first reported the news and Sulaimon later confirmed it on his Twitter account.

Sulaimon was dismissed from the Blue Devils last season amid allegations of sexual assault by two different women, which he has since denied. Sulaimon, who averaged 7.5 points per game for Duke last season, joins a potent lineup that already features star guard Melo Trimble, solid forward Jake Layman, and incoming blue chip big man Diamond Stone.
