Reed scores 18 to lift unbeaten DePaul past Cornell 75-53

CHICAGO (AP) — Paul Reed registered 18 points on 9 of 12 shooting as DePaul routed Cornell 75-54 on Saturday.

Reed also grabbed 12 rebounds as the Blue Demons owned the boards, 42-29.

Jalen Coleman-Lands had 12 points for DePaul (5-0), Devin Gage added 11 points.

Terrance McBride had 13 points for the Big Red (1-3). Jimmy Boeheim added 12 points. Dean Noll had 10 points for Big Red, which shot 37 % from the floor (21-57).

DePaul faces Boston College on the road next Saturday. Cornell matches up against Syracuse on the road on Wednesday.
