Texas point guard Isaiah Taylor will not play in Friday's game against Cal because of a left wrist injury, and he could miss more time than that.
Taylor, who 12.7 points and 4 assists last season, is expected to miss 1-2 weeks, ESPN reports. That leaves his status for the No. 10 Longhorns' games at No. 17 Connecticut on Nov. 30 and at top-ranked Kentucky on Dec. 5 in question.
Taylor injured the wrist in Thursday's 71-57 victory over Iowa. He started 35 games as a freshman in 2013-14.
