Tacko Fall, a 7-foot-6 freshman center at the University of Central Florida, is set to sue the NCAA if he does not get cleared to play this season, according to Jeff Goodman of ESPN.

Fall, who is originally from Senegal, spent his junior and senior year of high school in the United States, however, the NCAA is not accepting some of the core credits from his school, Liberty Christian Prep (Florida). Fall is enrolled at UCF as an engineering major.

"Right now, the NCAA seems to be hiding behind his high school, Liberty Christian, not being certified," Wettstein said. "They aren't accepting chemistry, calculus and other courses in which he excelled. This slaps in the face of what they say, that they look at each individual circumstance."

UCF opens the season on Saturday against Davidsion. One of the more anticipated non-conference games of the season featured Fall going head-to-head with Mamadou N'Diaye, the 7-foot-6 center from UC Irvine, Nov. 18.
