Report: Villanova, Virginia to play a home-and-home series

College basketball has made an effort to beef up its non-conference schedule to make the sport more interesting throughout the year. First on the agenda in order to carry out the task? Scheduling more appealing home-and-homes.

Mission accomplished.

A report surfaced Wednesday that Villanova and Virginia will do battle in a home-and-home, featuring two of the best programs in the nation and two of the best coaches in Jay Wright and Tony Bennett.
