Roy Williams says author of story on his health 'better step carefully' around his friends

Before facing Syracuse in the Final Four on Saturday, North Carolina Tar Heels men's basketball coach Roy Williams visited Dan Patrick's show where he discussed someone else who apparently has become a foe: a Washington Post reporter.

A few days ago, the Post published Kent Babb's story titled "Scandals and health burden Roy Williams to deliver for the player he loves." It delves into the North Carolina academic scandal and also paints a dark picture of the 65-year-old Williams' physical health and mental well-being.

Williams told Patrick that he indeed had two knee surgeries last summer, but claims that Babb "lied" in the story and that his friends are livid about it.
