Saint Mary's stays undefeated, beats UC Davis 81-67
MORAGA, Calif. (AP) Jock Landale had a career-high 15 points, Stefan Gonzalez also scored 15 and Saint Mary's stayed undefeated, beating UC Davis 81-67 on Friday night.
The Gaels (5-0) opened the second half with a 10-2 run which extended their lead to 48-35 on Calvin Hermanson's 3-pointer.
UC Davis (4-3) answered with a 9-3 run to get within 57-52 on Nolan Berry's layup with 11:25 left but Saint Mary's went on an 18-5 run and made six free throws in the final minute to secure the win.
Joe Rahon had 12 points and eight assists, and Emmett Naar had 10 points and seven assists. Hermanson finished with 11 and Kyle Clark scored 10.
Josh Fox scored a career-high 19 for the Aggies. Lawrence White and Nolan Berry added 11 points each and Brynton Lemar scored 10.
