Smith has 19 and 11, New Hampshire rolls past Hartford 82-52 (Feb 18, 2017)

DURHAM, N.H. (AP) Jalen Smith scored 19 points with 11 rebounds, Tanner Leissner added 15 points and New Hampshire rolled to an 82-52 win over Hartford on Saturday.

Daniel Dion added 14 points and Jordan Reed 10 for the Wildcats (17-11, 8-6 American East), who have won three straight.

New Hampshire used an 18-0 run midway through the first half to take a 21-13 lead and closed with a 14-1 run to make it 43-23. The lead was never below 20 in the second half.

J.R. Lynch had 13 points, Andrew Ramirez 12 and Jason Dunne 11 for the Hawks (8-21, 3-11), who shot 32 percent (19 of 60), including 8 of 29 on 3-pointers and were outrebounded 51-30.

New Hampshire, which won the first matchup 81-56, made 16 of 22 shots in the first half after starting 1 of 10.
