St. Francis (BKN) starts fast to down C. Connecticut (Jan 11, 2018)

NEW YORK (AP) Rasheem Dunn scored 21 points and Jagos Lasic scored 16 and St. Francis (BKN) beat Central Connecticut 77-60 on Thursday night.

Jalen Jordan started with a pair of 3-pointers between a layup and jumper from Dunn to put the Terriers up 10-2. St. Francis then rained 3s from Lasic, Josh Nicholas, Chauncey Hawkins and two from Dunn and the lead was 25-10.

St. Francis led 43-29 at halftime, and out of the break, went on a 10-2 run to push the lead to 22 (53-31) when Glenn Sanabria made 2-of-3 free throws.

Jordan added 13 points for St. Francis (6-11, 3-2 Northeastern Conference), which snapped a two-game losing streak.

Tyler Kohl scored a career-high 28 points on 11-for-18 shooting with eight rebounds for Central Connecticut (8-10, 1-4). Deion Butte scored 14 points and missed just one shot with a 4-of-5 performance from the field and made all six free throws.
