St. Francis jumps on American 68-48

LORETTO, Pa. (AP) Ben Millaud-Meunier had 19 points and six assists, and St. Francis jumped out to a 25-point halftime lead on its way to a 68-48 win over American University Saturday night.

Millaud-Meunier made three 3-pointers and was 6-for-6 from the free-throw line for St. Francis (2-1), which outrebounded American 43-27. Josh Nebo had 10 points and eight rebounds, and Ifeanyi Umezurike had seven points and nine rebounds.

Jesse Reed had 15 points and six rebounds for American (0-3). The Eagles shot just 34 percent from the field and committed 11 turnovers.

Reed's 3-point play got the Eagles within two points early in the first half, but the Red Flash used a 23-0 run to separate themselves and cruise to a comfortable victory.

St. Francis led by as many as 30 points.
