St. John's standout has chance to team up with LeBron

The Cleveland Cavaliers, 2015 Eastern Conference Champions, took a chance on a Big East kid with the 53rd pick in the NBA Draft.
They selected Sir'Dominic Pointer, the 6'6 forward from St. John's. Pointer was not a lock to be drafted, and if he can make the Cavs, it's an awfully good situation to land in for the tenacious defender.
Teammates Phil Greene IV and D'Angelo Harrison did not have the same fortune as Pointer. They were not drafted on Thursday night and will pursue other avenues to break into professional basketball, be it overseas or with an NBA club.
