MONROE, La. (AP) Sam McDaniel scored 20 points on 7-of-10 shooting to help lead Louisiana-Monroe to a 72-41 win over NAIA Blue Mountain College on Monday night.

McDonald also added seven rebounds and hit all three of his 3-point attempts. Travis Munnings added 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Warhawks (4-5), who despite an 0-5 road record are a spotless 3-0 at home.

Jay Howard and Dominic Hudson each scored eight points to lead the Toppers, who struggled mightily from the field, finishing with just 16 total field goals.

Louisiana-Monroe had a 23-8 run in the first half but led by just three (29-26) when the teams entered the locker room. But the Warhawks scored the first eight when the game resumed and quickly took a 37-26 lead.
