Tennessee State beats Stetson 93-90 in double overtime

DELAND, Fla. (AP) Keron Deshields scored 27, including five 3-pointers, and Wayne Martin added 23 points with 17 rebounds to help Tennessee State beat Stetson 93-90 Monday night in double overtime.

Darreon Reddick finished with 14 points and Demontez Loman had 12 points, 11 rebounds and four steals for Tennessee State (7-2), which has won five in a row.

The Tigers used a 6-0 run, including a 3 by Deshields, to take an 89-85 lead with 23 seconds left in the second overtime.

Divine Myles made a layup to cut Stetson's deficit to two before two free throws by Reddick made it 91-87 with eight seconds remaining.

Stetson pulled within one on a 3-pointer by Angel Rivera with two seconds to go, but Deshields hit two free throws to seal it.

Derick Newton scored 22, Rivera added 21 points and Myles finished with 20, 11 rebounds and six assists for Stetson (3-7).
