Texas A&M player's parents left UNI game early, missed their son's game-tying layup

Texas A&M freshman guard Admon Gilder completed the Aggies' miraculous comeback at the end of regulation against Northern Iowa last weekend, stealing the ball from Wes Washpun and making a game-tying layup to force overtime. 

Gilder's parents were in Oklahoma City for the game, but they missed their son's clutch play because they left the game before the final buzzer sounded.

Sure, the Aggies were down by 12 points with 40 seconds to play - but you can't leave a game early, especially in the NCAA tournament. The Gilder family promised not to make the same mistake twice.
