The ACC opened up the second day of its men's basketball tournament Wednesday in Washington D.C. with a matinee game between Syracuse and Pittsburgh.
Then, a few moments in, they stopped the game. And then the game started again. Then it stopped again. And then it started again.
All in all, the first few minutes of regulation featured eight clock-related game delays, according to ESPN, which aired the game.

Apparently, someone didn't wire the shot clock correctly and it repeatedly turned off.
After the fourth delay, the Verizon Center began to play Justin Bieber's "Sorry" over the PA system.
Eventually, someone had the bright idea to bring out backup shot clocks.
This is the first season the ACC tourney is in Washington D.C., which some view as a passive-aggressive shot at nearby Maryland, which left the league for the Big Ten in 2014.
