GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) Kahlil Thomas finished with 17 points and scored the winner off a teammate's miss with five seconds remaining as Rider edged North Carolina A&T 60-59 on Sunday, winning its fifth game in a row.

Sam Hunt nailed a jumper that erased a late Rider lead and put N.C. A&T ahead 59-58 with 26 seconds left. But on the next possession, the Bronc's Jimmie Taylor put up a deep 2-pointer from the right wing that missed everything. Thomas went streaking in for the rebound and put it up off the glass on a reverse layin. N.C. A&T had two more tries to win, but Thomas blocked an Aaron Scales putback attempt as time expired.

Taylor finished with 10 points for Rider (8-3) and Stevie Jordan had six assists to go with eight points.

Eliel Gonzalez led the Aggies (1-10) with 16 points and Hunt scored five of his seven in the last 1:08.
