LOWELL, Mass. (AP) Jahad Thomas scored 19 points, grabbed 19 rebounds, and dished out 10 assists to record the first triple-double in school history and UMass-Lowell beat Hartford 71-55 on Saturday.

Thomas finished 8 of 13 from the field, and his 19 rebounds matched a career-high. Tyler Livingston finished with 17 points and Ryan Jones added 14 for the River Hawks (8-10, 3-1 America East), who have won four straight against Hartford.

Jalen Ross scored 19 points to lead Hartford (5-13, 0-3). Ross was the only person in double-figures for the Hawks, who struggled mightily from the field, finishing with just 18 total field goals and 4 of 28 from long range.

Hartford led 31-30 at the half, but Livingston drilled a 3 27 seconds into the second period which sparked a 10-0 River Hawks run which gave them the lead for good.
